I am a professional money manager and utilize MarketSmith throughout the work day, from my desktop, for managing client portfolios utilizing the CANSLIM methodology. This app is a great tool for checking existing positions and reviewing potential additions while away from the office.

Good app but at the moment its garbage because every time I try to look up a chart, the app wont let me type in the ticker. I deleted and reinstalled and its the same thing. Fix this crap already.

Using both the desktop and mobile app. Pretty intuitive to use w pre-packaged oNeill performance indicators to supplement my own research/tactics. Have made money with it in combination with picking up IBD to read twice a week. Desktop app has paid for itself.

Only for serious, sophisticated investors. Well worth it.

Just like its founder, this app is built to be a no nonsense, professional, straight forward stock analyzer. A thing of beauty...my go to portable business tool.

I love the MS app for the iPad but there are a few things wrong. 1. I cant see the prices for the trend lines, especially when they are converging with each other. Horrible feature. MS team, please fix this! 2. When will we be able to adjust the dates so we can see more of the chart history? 3. Please allow a feature for us to manage the order of our stock lists. Other than that, this app is pretty awesome. Marketsmith is a must for me and I use the iPad app just as much as the desktop, maybe even more. Love it!

Good App but needs a little more flexibility in the area of the display. For example, should be able to "pinch" in and out to expand or shrink the chart.

Same issue as previous review. Freezes on opening, cant login. Deleting and reinstalling only solution.

The app is now functionally dead. Has been for almost a week. Tried to erase and reload. Cant even download a new version.

Great service, clunky app. Latest version keeps freezing up at the opening splash screen or just crashing when using it. Only solution appears to be deleting and re-installing app multiple times per day. That also requires that you reconfigure certain settings. It also has you logging in with your password multiple times a day, saying youre logged in on another device, even though thats not necessarily the case. If at least theyd let it remember your password it would save some hassles.

No charting system has everything any experienced investor wants. Were just too set in our ways. But MarketSmith puts more on my iPhone screen with cleaver hidden slider widows for financial history, many technical and fundamental ratings, news, and company/competitor info. With the pattern recognition, I can quickly see when a stock is close to a buy point. Yes I want my annotations from my desktop to show here but Im sure thats coming.

Wonderful program Too expensive

I never make an in investment decision without checking Marketsmiths technical evaluation.

It is great to be able to research patterns, breakouts etc. on my iPhone. It has enabled me to review 3 times the charts I used to be able to do. I love this app. Thx for making it.

Marketsmith is easy to use. Their product coaches are helpful.

Combines all analytics with exceptional defined screeners. Filtering options are unmatched and fully customizable. Could not do my Job without it!
